Who We Are

Since 1994 Skate World News has been dedicated to following and disseminating the best of Skateboarding, both nationally and internationally. Over more than 30 years, we have been an active platform, sharing news, trends and events that mark the current of all skateboarding modalities.

In addition to the information, we were the pioneers in the mapping of Skateparks and Spots in Portugal, these spaces can be explored directly on our site through Interactive Maps, facilitating the connection between skaters and the community, thus contributing to the growth and appreciation of skateboarding in Portugal.

We’re a collective of many hundreds of skaters from the most varied professions, from all corners of Portugal from north to south, including the Azores and Madeira Archipelago, as well as from many PALOP countries.
Portuguese and foreign friends who are scattered around the world also collaborate with us.

Skatepark Mapping in Portugal and the World

We embrace everything that is part of the skateboarding culture and its lifestyle – inside and outside Portugal. We advocate equal opportunities in skateboarding, whether at the level of associativism or in access to infrastructure, continuously working for a more inclusive and strong community.

All the content of the National Skateboard Site is produced by skaters with experience and work in the area since 1994, guaranteeing authenticity, knowledge, and real connection to culture.
